        This is what makes a wild pirate party

        Do you want to give your offspring a pirate party? Then cast off, the adventure begins. At a pirate party everything revolves around ships , cheeky pirates, adventure and gold treasures . There are also funny songs and rustic food . A campfire with stick bread, for example, is a wonderful way to end a pirate party.

        And it's not just children who enjoy taking on the role of pirates. At a themed party, adults can leave everyday life behind for a few hours and simply enjoy their wild side.

        Decorations and accessories are incredibly important for the right pirate feeling. What would a pirate party be without a colorful parrot, pirate ship or crew monkey? And above everything, the black flags with the skull flutter.

        Let the flair flow in cleverly. Pirate flags on the door or on the walls make it immediately clear who is in charge - the captain. A pirate ship sails through the delicious buffet. A parrot and monkey guard the location. And in a treasure bag is the coveted gold treasure , which you can fight for with harmless cutlasses .

        The decoration for the pirate party goes even further. Because the overall package creates the unique flair to immerse yourself in the world of pirates.

        Location and invitation

        Your own garden, preferably with a pool, or a beach is ideal. Of course, you can also rent a room. Lots of wood gives the impression of a sailing ship. A beach bar is perfect for an adult party.

        The invitation itself can show the motto. For example, you can invite people to a pirate party with a treasure map or write the most important information for the guests on the back of a pirate flag. It is best if everyone comes in pirate costumes . Then you can feel the wildness and freedom of the buccaneers with all your senses.

        Real pirate food

        The food contributes to the ambience. For pirates, fish and meat were served. There was also the classic rusk , like the pirates ate on the high seas, or fried potatoes . For children, there are fish fingers, for adults, salmon, herring or whatever you like best. A herb sauce rounds off the feast.

        Pirates loved to drink rum . With a small barrel of rum, the pirate party will be a real hit. If you like cocktails, then the piña colada is the best choice, as many pirates roamed the Caribbean.

        Of course, the little pirates shouldn't drink alcohol. Homemade lemonade is perfect for them. It's not only refreshing and delicious, but also contains lots of vitamins. Lemons became popular with pirates in the 18th century because they prevented scurvy, a disease caused by vitamin deficiency. This way, the young pirates will stay lively until the end of the party.
