First of all, the teeth are dried with a cloth. The wax is applied tooth by tooth with the finger, even quiet several times on top of each other until the desired color is achieved. You can feel the rough surface a little, but the wax holds amazingly well and is not detached even by saliva.
To clean, simply rub the tooth with a cloth and remove the wax. Removal is residue-free, you may need a toothbrush or floss for the spaces between teeth.
